These are 40-minute performances by the Mad Scientist in schools for students in grades 1-6 (Estonian school stages I-II), with demonstration and participatory experiments showing how the brain works and how people learn. How does creativity develop, why do emotions affect learning, how does movement give the brain strength, and why does knowledge grow every time we use the brain? And the other way around: what happens to the brain when we use, or don't use, our knowledge and skills? One central idea ties it all together: energy. The brain produces, directs and uses energy to set both thoughts and the person themselves in motion. The Mad Scientist shows what an ingenious, changeable and adaptable organ the human brain is, and how much fun it is to explore it together.

The visits are part of the Researchers' Night festival 2026 program.
